Last night the Revivals absolutely kicked off the New Year with a bang and as always had their rocking oomph to it! Supported again by no other than The Sandemans!

So recently I had the pleasure of doing gig photography for The Revivals, who recently got back together following their decade long hiatus just before their second album was ready for the studio. What can I say? Having played gigs out at south by southwest in Austin, the O2 in Brixton and Dobbies, they are no strangers to an ecstatic crowd, and that's exactly what they had at the Twa Tams. Sure it was a smaller gig compared to what they were used to, but as always they killed it! They were electric, eccentric and had some of their classics including real love, absent alibi and chooglin. The crowd were, small but packed and vibrant. It was the definition of 'intimate'. Get these guys in the big time please! They were supported by non other than a up and coming local band named The Sandemans. If you haven't already get listening to The Revival's first album on I Tunes. |
